Hola besties, I'm Mariella, the owner and dog walker behind Furever Besties. I believe every dog deserves a daily walk to stay healthy and happy. For almost three years I've volunteered as a dog walker at a no-kill shelter, working with dogs of every shape, size, breed and temperament. I let dogs sniff the world around them because it helps them regulate their emotions and keeps them content on their walks.

I started Furever Besties after a pet-sitting app sitter lost my own dog, Beethoven, and barely looked for him. That night taught me that not everyone treats your pet with the heart you would. So I became Red Cross certified in cat and dog first aid, got fully insured, and built the kind of care I'd want for my own two rescue pups.

Meet my besties, Beethoven and Pepper. Beethoven is reactive, and for the past two years I've been working with him on patience, trust and building his confidence one walk at a time. He's taught me to read a dog's body language, give them space when they need it, and never rush a nervous pup. If your dog is shy, anxious or reactive, I understand, and I'll meet them where they are.
